License activation

License policy
The license granted to you with Capture One is personal and allows you to install on two computers. If you want to install Capture One on more than two computers Phase One offers a wide range of multi-user site licenses.

Multi-user site license keys can be purchased in the Phase One E-shop or at your local dealer. 

Updates and upgrades
Phase One provides update and upgrade paths for all Capture One products. Your Capture One license key comes with at least one FREE major update. This means that you will get the next major update including new features and functions FREE of charge (the update is then subtracted from your license key). Maintenance releases are FREE.

 

At www.phaseone.com you will be asked to create a profile when you activate Capture One for the first time. Your profile includes relevant information, such as your license key, number of computer activations and FREE updates left and purchases made in the Phase One e-shop. 

 

Multi-user Site License
Phase One offers multi-user site licenses, which provides you with multiple computer activations on the same license key. Multi-user licenses are only available for Capture One PRO.

If you upgrade an existing Capture One DB license key to a multi-user site license key, you will be asked to validate (NOT deactivate) your existing key. You will receive a new Capture One PRO license key with more 'seats'. However, your existing Capture One DB key will still work with digital backs on multiple computers.
