You can purchase Capture One for iPad as a monthly subscription for $4.99 a month. Purchases are made via the App Store for your region.

Currently, you do not need to have our desktop app to use Capture One for iPad. You can simply create a profile through the iPad app.

No. Capture One for iPad is a standalone application sold separately from Capture One Pro.  
We are looking into bundles with Capture One Pro subscriptions, but due to some technical constraints, this is not yet possible.

You will need to use the most recent version of both Capture One Pro and Capture One for iPad in order to use cloud transfer. If you are relying on cloud transfer or frequently using it, then it’s worth keeping both applications on the latest version possible.

For each album created in the iPad app, you have the option to “Add to the cloud”. When you tap on this option, your adjusted images will start uploading to the cloud. Once the upload is finished, the option to “Import from cloud” in the desktop software will appear and let you download the images and import them into your computer, just like a regular import. We have created a support article about this feature – please check <a rel="noopener" href="https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/5371094620189" target="_blank">here</a>.

At the moment, image transferring only works one way, from iPad to desktop. But this is just our first step, and we will be working on improving cloud capabilities for Capture One over time.

Live requires an internet connection to share your collection online and receive updates from reviewers directly in the app. When the iPad is locked or there is no internet connection, reviewers can still access the online collection and give feedback. Their comments, ratings, and more will be synced the next time the photographer opens the collection in the app.
