What's the difference between Pro, All in One, and Studio?

Accepted Answer

Pro: Access to our desktop software (Mac or Windows). Available as a subscription or perpetual license. It's ideal for individual photographers who need powerful editing tools.
All in One: This includes everything in Pro, plus access to our mobile app (iOS), unlimited use of Capture One Live for collaboration, and priority customer support. It is only available as a subscription.
Studio: This product is designed for professional studios and advanced workflows. It includes every All in One feature, plus specialized tools for high-volume, collaborative environments, such as advanced workflow optimizations. It is fully compatible with other Capture One versions.

How do you get in contact with tech support?

If you need help, just head over to our Support site and fill out the form.

By the way, you'll get prioritized support if you're using All in One, Studio, or Studio for Teams. Studio for Enterprise customers can even arrange dedicated 1:1 tech support sessions.

Why are some features not in the Pro version?

We’ve designed our Pro software with the needs of most users in mind. By keeping it streamlined and efficient, we want to avoid adding tools that may not be relevant for the majority.

By separating our software into distinct versions, we can be more intentional about tailoring features to specific audiences and communicating them effectively.

After all, a tool that tries to do everything often doesn’t do anything exceptionally well.

I use Lightroom, why should I use Capture One?

There are many great reasons to switch from Lightroom to Capture One. From powerful tethering and endless customization options to advanced editing tools, session workflows, precise masking, and stunning color profiles—it’s a game-changer for most pro photographers.
